The tomtom go 730 gps now includes iq routes, which from that i understand, works similarly to the dash – it gathers speed information from other tomtom users upon every road, so if a certain route is known to have a very low average speed in the direction of a given time of day, the 730 will route you around order that road to avoid the potential traffic. It likewise has the new lane guidance pictures – i’ve only seen the one once so far in the month or so i’ve owned it, however it looked cool! At first i was torn between the one model also the garmin nuvi series, however the nice thing about the one tomtom order that was the selling point as me was order that you can easily add/remove/edit points of interest. This is done upon the unit (not via new map updates or mapshare) also can be done pretty quickly. The garmin’s brag order that they have more points.
