แพ็คเกจพิเศษชุดใหม่ของเกมส์ Final Fantasy XI จะมีชื่อว่า Vanadiel Collection 2 โดยจะมีตัวเกมส์หลักพร้อมด้วยภาคเสริม Rise of Zilart , Chains of Promathia , Treasures of Aht Urhgan , Wings of the Goddess อีกทั้งยังมีเนื้อหาเสริมอีก 3 ตอนใหม่ล่าสุด A Crystalline Prophecy , A Moogle Kupo d’Etat , A Shantoto Ascension

กำหนดวันวางจำหน่ายของแพ็คเกจ Final Fantasy XI : Vanadiel Collection 2 จะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายนนี้ ด้วยราคา 6,090 เยน (ประมาณ 2,100 บาท) สำหรับเล่นบนเครื่องเกมส์คอนโซล Xbox360 , PlayStation2 และเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์

ก่อนหน้านี้ “สแควร์ เอนิกส์” ได้เคยออกมาชี้แจงไว้แล้ว ว่าจะยังคงพัฒนาและเปิดให้บริการเกมส์ Final Fantasy XI อย่างต่อเนื่องถึงแม้จะมีการพัฒนาภาคใหม่อย่าง Final Fantasy XIV ก็ตาม โดยจะมีการเปิดให้บริการทั้งสองเกมส์ควบคู่กันไป
