I experience two children, ages 6 and 3 1/2 years. Originally, I ordered this ladder and the ladder sold by One Measure Before because I knew I wanted one in each of their rooms and I thought the one from One Measure Before would exist lighter and easier for our youngest daughter to use. I WAS WRONG. Although lighter, the ladder from One Step Before is BULKY and NEITHER of my children could lift it/maneuver it adequate to make it into the window during our drills.

Yes, this ladder is heavier. Just they never lift the all thing. They drag the box to the window and then have the bottom rung (which is a different colour and packaged to ride decently on top, thus it is tardily to find) out and throw it away the window. Then they beginning throwing handfuls of the residue of the rungs out until the hooks. My 3 1/2 twelvemonth old had no problem with this during our drill. I also actually liked that it is slow to do drills and refold the ladder back into the box right and that more than one mortal could exist supported at a time.
