I believe that this pump design is improve than the others that connect in the discharge line. I did not have adequate space in my pit for that kind. Hence this pump does a good occupation of pumping away my sump pit.The instructions were not that good simply it was middling tardily to install. One thing that I did not realize until afterwards I already received wholly of my pipes glued up was that the battery cause needs to be attached to the pump to continue the pump from moving. I positioned the pump on the back side of my pit along the wall and afterwards I received everything glued up there was no room to motility the pump to attach it to the case. However, I led the pump several times and it did not move thence I believe that this will not be a problem. I received read other reviews nearly this pump having some leakage. However, Hydropump RH1400 Backup Sump Pump within near 1 second of feeding my pump for the foremost time, the storey about the pump was wholly wet. It should not induce a trouble because the pump meanspirited seems to be stainless steel and it will continue to be primed every time the principal sump runs only it just does not tone that good.
