Toshiba Portege R835-P56x 13.3-Inch Passed Laptop

The keyboard is a small loud, sure, merely aside from that it is only almost perfect. I’ve forever liked the old IBM clicky keyboards. Typing on this reminds me of those, which I conceive is awesome.

The touchpad was *kinda* weird, but I became utilized to it apace (have had the automobile for nearly 2 weeks now). Another reviewer commented on the scrolling, and has a result posted equally well. After a couple hours of use, I receive no problem utilising the touchpad (have eve played Portal 2 a number with it).

The performance is amazing, the alone thing slowing it down is the hard drive. I experience SSDs in my other machines, thus the difference is somewhat apparent to me. I’ll pick R835-P56x up an SSD and make this the perfect small laptop.

Battery liveliness is as advertised. I took it in to form one daytime and downloaded entirely of Portal 2, OpenSUSE 11.4 ISO, and Office, completely while doing normal browsing with max brightness. I continued to burn and install OpenSUSE, and the battery yet lasted roughly 6.5 hours. I was impressed.

The screen is definitely bright. I applied it in a automobile with sun coming through the window with no issues. Equally most, I’d prefer a matte screen, only any glare on this is barely noticeable, I didn’t eventide consider virtually it while using it in the sun.
